Symphonic Mountain Fantasy was written for a more mature band in mind, at a grade level of approx. 3. The piece is very rich and harmonically interesting, modulating from Eb to Cm to Ab to Fm to Db, etc. It is based off of one singular motive that is presented in the beginning, and is used all through the piece. The biggest thing to keep in mind with this piece is to not push the tempo or rush through it - take your time and enjoy the different places the little motive goes to.
