This is a short and sweet alto flute solo with piano accompaniment, not too difficult for either player. The
theme is quite simple and expressive, and is changed and evolved through the piece until it transforms back
into the original in a grand way. A nice little reflection of what I consider beautiful. This piece was premiered at the Spring 2022 UCA Composers Forum Concert, with Angela Rhodes on flute.
