Scrapper was written for my final project for a freshman Composition class I took to fulfill my degree requirement. It was written to be as idiomatic for the cello as possible, as I am still learning the basic mechanics for string instruments in general. The title comes from a random title generator, which was (for me) a very popular choice to name pieces - I am creative with music, but not with titles. I have since worked on improving my titling game!
