This is my first work for chamber strings, written in the Summer of 2019. I was exploring with a wide array of sounds at the time, and specifically I was trying to develop my string writing and incorporating specific string techniques that I learned through orchestration manuals and YouTube videos. This piece, and many others, are the result of my constant experimentation. The title comes primarily from the ending, where the harmony does not give a clear sense of an ending, leaving the audience to question what the piece is really doing.
