This work is one that holds a true place in my heart as one of my first real compositions. I wrote it with younger bands in mind, and I used the smallest instrumentation I could think of. There are only single parts for the instruments (1 tpt., 1 clar., 1 tbn., etc.), and with this small instrumentation, I focused mainly on how to make it sound deep and unique, while also being relatively easy.
This work was a finalist in the 2017 MakeMusic Young Composers Contest, when I was only 14 years old in 8th grade.
